2 Euro Andorra 2016 - 150th Anniversary of the New Reform of 1866 commemorates the 150th anniversary of the New Reform Decree of 1866, an important milestone in the political and social development of the Principality of Andorra. The reform brought significant changes to Andorra's institutions and the history of its Parliament, the Consell General.
The national side features the main room of Casa de la Vall, the historic building that served as the seat of the Andorran Parliament. Above the architectural scene is the inscription 150 ANYS DE LA NOVA REFORMA DE 1866, while the year 2016 and the name ANDORRA appear below. The outer ring carries the 12 stars of the European Union. The reverse features the common 2 Euro design with the denomination and a map of Europe.
Presented in an original Coincard in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) quality, this Andorran commemorative coin is an attractive addition to collections of Andorra Euro coins, European commemoratives and coins dedicated to the country's political and institutional history.
