2 Euro Andorra 2015 - 30th Anniversary of Coming of Age and Political Rights at 18 is a commemorative Euro coin marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the legal age of majority at 18 years and the acquisition of political rights for men and women in Andorra. The issue commemorates an important milestone in the development of civil and political rights in the Principality.
The national side depicts a young person casting a vote, with a ballot paper bearing the inscription ANDORRA. To the left of the figure are the commemorative years 1985 and 2015. Surrounding the central design is the Catalan inscription 30è ANIVERSARI MAJORIA D’EDAT ALS 18 ANYS, meaning “30th anniversary of coming of age at 18 years”. The outer ring features the 12 stars of the European Union. The common reverse carries the standard 2 Euro design.
Presented in an original Coincard in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) quality, this Andorran commemorative coin is an attractive addition to collections of Andorra Euro coins, European commemoratives and issues documenting important milestones in the country’s modern history.
