Commemorative set issued by the Bank of Estonia in 2008 to mark the 90th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia. The set includes a 10 krooni banknote (2008 reissue) and a 1 kroon commemorative coin, presented in an official folder. Limited edition of 30,000 pieces.
The obverse of the banknote features the image of an Estonian woman in national costume holding a sickle and a sheaf of grain — a stylized reproduction based on the classic 1937 design by Günther Reindorf.
The reverse side depicts the Tamme-Lauri oak — one of the oldest and most symbolic trees in Estonia, representing national identity and strength.
The note was printed using modern security features and is not intended for circulation. It is a collectible replica inspired by a historical pre-war design.
A beautiful tribute to Estonian heritage and a must-have for collectors of Baltic currency or national commemoratives.
