Circulating banknote Belarus 50 kopecks 1992 (Pick 1), issued by the National Bank of Belarus after gaining independence.
The front side features a squirrel — one of the key motifs from the 1992 banknote series. The reverse shows the national emblem "Pahonia" — a mounted knight with a sword used in Belarus in the early 1990s.
The banknote is printed on paper with a watermark and protective pattern to prevent counterfeiting.
Note: This banknote series is nicknamed the “zoological” series due to the animal illustrations featured on various denominations.
An excellent choice for collectors of CIS banknotes and 1990s-era currency.
