The Lithuania 1 Talonas 1991 banknote (Pick P‑32b) is part of Lithuania’s transitional currency series issued after regaining independence. This version is notable for the legal warning printed below the denomination on the obverse side.
The obverse (front) features the national coat of arms of Lithuania (Vytis), the large denomination “1 Talonas,” and below it the legal notice: "Vertybinis popierius. Už jo padirbinėjimą baudžiama pagal įstatymą", which warns that counterfeiting is punishable by law.
The reverse (back) depicts two stylized sand lizards (Lacerta agilis), which are national symbols, framed by floral ornamentation, along with the series and serial number.
The note has a brown and yellow-gold color scheme and contains only a watermark as a security feature.
A rare variation with a printed legal warning — an essential piece for collectors of Lithuanian monetary history.
