The banknote with a denomination of 200 Cruzeiros of Brazil 1990 (Pick P‑229) belongs to the third series of Cruzeiro (first edition), issued by the Central Bank of Brazil. A modern version of a historical issue preserved in UNC condition.
Obverse side: features a symbolic allegory of the Republic in the form of a sculpture. On the left are famous republic figures — Silva Jardim, Benjamin Constant, Marshal Deodoro da Fonseca, and Quintino Bocaiuva — symbols of national sovereignty and democratic ideals.
Reverse side: detail from the painting "Pátria" (Homeland) by Pedro Paulo Bruno, depicting a family sewing the Brazilian flag — a symbol of national identity and patriotism.
