2 Euro Vatican 2025 - Jubilee 2025 (BU) is an official Vatican commemorative coin issued to celebrate the Jubilee Year 2025, also known as the Holy Year, one of the most important religious events of the Catholic Church. This special issue represents a symbol of faith, tradition and spiritual renewal.
Struck in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality, the coin features original mint brilliance and finely detailed relief. The obverse depicts the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica, a central symbol of the Jubilee tradition. The design includes the Latin inscription IVBILAEUM 2025, the inscription CITTÀ DEL VATICANO, the Rome Mint mark "R" and the designer’s name D. LONGO. The reverse displays the common European 2 Euro design shared by all Eurozone member states.
With a limited mintage of 75,000 pieces, this official Vatican 2 Euro 2025 Jubilee commemorative coin is an excellent addition to collections of Vatican coins, religious-themed Euro commemoratives and modern numismatic issues.
