2 Euro Portugal 2026 - Centenary of Rotary's Presence in Portugal (UNC) is an official Portuguese commemorative coin issued to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rotary's presence in Portugal. Since the establishment of the first Rotary Club in Portugal in 1926, the organisation has promoted humanitarian service, education, community development and international cooperation, making a lasting contribution to Portuguese society.
Struck in Uncirculated (UNC) quality, the coin features its original mint lustre and finely detailed relief. The obverse is dedicated to the centenary of Rotary in Portugal and depicts the official Rotary International wheel emblem, symbolising service, fellowship and cooperation, together with inscriptions commemorating the 100-year anniversary. The reverse displays the common European 2 Euro design shared by all Eurozone member states.
With a limited mintage of 500,000 pieces, this official Portuguese issue is an excellent addition to collections of Euro commemorative coins, Portuguese numismatic issues and coins dedicated to international organisations and historical anniversaries.
