2 Euro Portugal 2026 - Centenary of Rotary's Presence in Portugal (Proof) is an official Portuguese commemorative coin issued to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rotary's presence in Portugal. The first Rotary Club in Portugal was established in Lisbon in 1926, marking the beginning of a century of Rotary activity dedicated to community service, solidarity, education, health and international cooperation.

Struck in premium Proof quality, the coin features polished mirror fields and finely frosted relief with exceptional detail. The national side presents a symbolic composition centred around a globe representing the Earth, surrounded by seven stylised human figures. The figures represent the seven areas of focus of Rotary and emphasise the international and human dimension of the organisation. Two hands appear above the globe, symbolising peace, support and cooperation, while a partially visible gear wheel represents the international Rotary network. The inscriptions ROTARY, PORTUGAL and 2026 complete the design, together with the Portuguese national shield, the name of the designer João Duarte and the mint indication CASA DA MOEDA. The reverse displays the common European 2 Euro design shared by all Eurozone member states.
