Commemorative 2 euro coin from Belgium, issued in 2025 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the National Lottery. This is an official BU issue presented in a Dutch-language coincard.
The obverse features a stylized female figure — the Goddess of Fortune — holding a cornucopia, symbolizing prosperity and generosity. Four four-leaf clovers surround her, representing luck. The background contains abstract circular motifs symbolizing community and connection.
Also included are the inscriptions "LOTERIJ NATIONALE", the country code BE, the year 2025, the mintmark of the Royal Mint of Belgium, and the designer's initials. The reverse is the common euro side with a map of Europe.
Limited mintage: only 75,000 pieces in Dutch-language coincard.
